Marta is PhD candidate at the Faculty of Law at the University of Warsaw (MA in law 2019)
and a researcher at the Centre for Research on the Law of Eastern Europe and Central Asia at
the University of Warsaw. She is currently preparing a dissertation on the law protecting
whistleblowers in Poland in the context of the EU Directive 1937/2019 under the supervision
of Prof. UW dr hab. Małgorzata Barzycka-Banaszczyk.
She is also the principal investigator of a research project “Legal situation of the
whistleblower in Polish labour law” granted by the National Science Center (Poland). The
project aims to answer the question of how the Polish whistleblower protection model should
be designed in the light of international standards, the Polish socio-cultural context, and the
experience of other states. 
Marta is a country editor at Whistleblowing Monitor and a fellow at the European
Whistleblowing Institute.
She is engaged in organizing the School of Law of Eastern Europe and Central Asia and is a
member of the Anti-Mobbing Committee of the University of Warsaw.
